Early Voting Locations
Early voting locations, or voting locations, will be located throughout the county. Voting locations will issue vote by mail ballots. They will not offer a traditional poll experience with a ballot scanner. The ballot envelopes will be placed in a secure container, with voter signatures checked later at the elections office before ballots are tabulated. Any voter can visit any voting location location in Stanislas County.

At voting locations, voters can receive the following services:
Locations will be open for early voting from 8 am to 5 pm the Saturday, Sunday and Monday before Election Day. Locations will be open on Tuesday, Election Day, from 7 am to 8 pm.

A list of voting locations will be listed in your county voter information guide.
To find the nearest voting location, use the voting location lookup tool on our homepage when it is available during an election. You may also call (209) 525-5200 for assistance in English. For assistance in Spanish, call (209) 525-5230.
Voters may also visit the Elections Office at 1021 "I" Street, Suite 101, in downtown Modesto. The office is open Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4 pm, excluding holidays.
Stanislaus County has a 24-hour official ballot drop box located outside of the Elections Office. This drop box is available starting 29 days before Election Day.

Election Volunteers Available For Help Casting Your Ballot
For Help Marking Your Ballot
Under California law, any voter who needs help marking a ballot is entitled to request assistance. An election volunteer can provide assistance, or you may bring up to two people to help you. The person(s) may not be your employer, your employer's agent, your labor union leader or labor union agent.
Accessible ballot marking devices are also available to voters with accessibility needs.
Each voting location in Stanislaus County has accessible ballot marking devices that displays voting instructions and the ballot in large type text, touch, and audio formats. This technology also allows the use of assistive devices (i.e. sip and puff, stylus, etc.)
